At Queensview Nursery School and Kindergarten, every day is filled with discovery, creativity, and joyful learning. Our play-based curriculum helps children grow socially, emotionally, and academically—all in a warm, nurturing community where families and teachers work together.
Our 3K classroom welcomes 10 children, providing an intimate, nurturing first school experience. Through play, art, music, and exploration, our youngest learners develop language, social skills, and confidence. Teachers gently guide children as they learn to share, express themselves, and build friendships—setting the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
Our PreK classroom serves 16 children and helps prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. The curriculum encourages curiosity and creativity through hands-on experiences in literacy, math, science, and the arts. Children learn to work collaboratively, solve problems, and think independently—all while having fun and feeling supported.
Queensview Nursery School and Kindergarten is part of the New York City Department of Education’s 3K and PreK for All programs. This means that our programs are free for all eligible NYC families, and our curriculum aligns with the city’s early childhood education standards while maintaining the warmth and individuality of our cooperative model.
